The
house was built circa 1595 and was sympathetically restored in 1972
and established as a private, luxury Residential Care Home for the
Elderly that is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
Dury Falls Home provides care for the elderly frail as well as people
with dementia and related challenges with memory, where our team of
dedicated staff focus on the resident's individual needs.
Our aim is to concentrate on the core values thus enabling residents
to maximise independence, maintain dignity, protect rights, ensure
privacy, exercise choice and enable fulfillment.
The home has adopted the end of life tool 'the Preferred Place of
Care' with the aim of improving resident's choices, in that they
can elect to state that they wish to be cared for at the home with
support from external agencies (as appropriate) in the last weeks
of their life with Dury Falls.
